Mission Statement
All About the Seniors and Kids Inc.
At All About the Seniors and Kids Inc., we believe every person deserves to be seen, valued, respected, and given the opportunity to live with dignity and hope. Our mission is to restore confidence, strengthen families, and transform lives by serving those who are too often forgotten—our seniors, children, veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness, people returning from incarceration, and families facing hardship.
We are more than a nonprofit organization—we are a family committed to meeting people where they are and walking beside them on their journey toward a better future. We understand that a haircut can restore confidence, a conversation can restore hope, and a caring hand can change the direction of someone's life.
For years, we have stood on the front lines of our community, providing professional grooming services, mentoring youth, supporting seniors, connecting individuals to housing, substance use treatment, mental health services, employment resources, food assistance, hygiene supplies, and countless other supports that help people rebuild their lives. We have partnered with community organizations, nursing homes, schools, shelters, healthcare providers, and local agencies because we know that lasting change happens when communities work together.
Our work is built on compassion, respect, integrity, and service. Every event we host, every partnership we create, and every life we touch reflects our belief that no one should ever feel invisible or without hope.
The Newark community has embraced our organization because we show up—not only during times of celebration, but also during times of crisis. We listen without judgment, serve without conditions, and believe in the potential of every individual we encounter. Whether we are mentoring a young person, providing a senior with compassionate care, offering a person experiencing homelessness a fresh start, or helping someone begin their recovery journey, our purpose remains the same: to restore dignity, inspire hope, and create opportunities that change lives.
As our organization continues to grow, so does our commitment to expanding programs that empower youth, honor seniors, strengthen families, reduce homelessness, support recovery, develop workforce skills, and build healthier, safer neighborhoods.
Our vision is a community where every senior is respected, every child has the opportunity to succeed, every family has access to support, and every person—regardless of their circumstances—has the chance to live with purpose, hope, and dignity.
Because when we invest in our seniors, we preserve wisdom. When we invest in our children, we build the future. And when we invest in our community, we create lasting change for generations to come.
Our Motto:
"Look Good. Feel Good. Do Good."
Together, we are changing lives—one person, one family, and one community at a time.
